I really been loving the hoop wreath trend! I could not justify buying them from ETSY or retail stores. The cheapest I seen were about $45.00 a piece plus shipping. I had some extra floral and stems lying around so I thought to myself why not just make one! This wreath took no more than 15 minutes to make and if you are a craft hoarder like me than you might all ready have all the supplies. All I needed to purchase was the gold hoop. So happy with the finished product that I may or not have bought some summer floral and hoops to make some more.

So without further do let’s dive into the tutorial.

SUPPLIES FOR MAKING A GOLD HOOP WREATH

  • Hoop-steel ring

  • Greenery (I used eucalyptus)

  • Flowers/ Flowers stem (I used hot pink peonies )

  • Floral wire and floral tape to attach the stems

  • Very strong scissors or wire snips

STEP ONE:

Cut your stems using wire cutters. (My stems did not need to be cut but I do not think this is standard.) Leave some extra room on the end of the stems to attach to the hoop wreath.

STEP TWO:

Find placement of stems before attaching to wreath “permanently”. I placed down a stem on each side and made sure the stems overlapped. I went super simple with the placement of peonies and add three right in the middle.

STEP THREE:

After finding placement I been using floral wire to attached the eucalyptus stems and secure them with floral tape after. For the peonies I just used the floral tape to attached them to the middle.
